Gameplay seems repetitive to me but early demo feedback has bene unanimously positive and Capcom is on a tear right now. May grab it

Holy shite this game is fun as hell
Love having to solve the puzzles while your shooting in a 3rd person shooter
Instant buy for me
Anyone buying this without doing the demo for some reason you should do it. It’s quick and you unlock cosmetics and moves you can use on the main game

Good everyone should imo
Took me 17 minutes to do the demo. It is short and sweet but gives you a nice feel for it. It is very unique as a game imo.
You get to test your skills with a boss at the end which adds some new mechanics you havent seen yet then its over.
After that i unlocked 4 cosmetics, a new weapon, and 3 new movement abilites like the ability to more or less perfect dodge but the game has a different phrasing. Idk if some or all will be availan\ble to you in the full game if you dont earn them in the demo (im sure the perfect dodge thing will but cosmetics etc maybe not) so yeah its worthwhile.
Enjoy

quote:
Astronaut difficulty is a specific challenge mode in Pragmata that requires players to complete the game without a single reload (death), serving as the ultimate test of skill and mastery
This wasnt a choice in the demo which just had casual and normal difficulty choices.
The full game will have hard and then the one i quoted above which is a no death run.
Estimated game lengh:
Main story on normal difficulty: 12-15 hours
Main story with all side content: 25-30 hours
No death run just main story: 40 hour
quote:
Q: Are there multiple endings that affect the pragmata time to beat?
A: Yes, there are three distinct endings. Seeing the "True Ending" requires specific side-quest completion, which adds about 3-4 hours to a standard playthrough.
looks like it has good replayability too

Was debating on picking this up tomorrow. I bought Crimson Desert on release day just to ultimately decide it wasn’t for me. I just don’t have the time a game like that requires anymore. This seems like more my speed.

One of the more unique things ive played in a minute
While you are in combat you aim your weapon in third person on an enemry and a little hacking sqaure comes up in the corner you have to solve with various gates you can take the route through for increased damage. Shooting them without solving it does like 1 damage.
Its a lot of fun
the movement system is cool you can jump hover quick dash but you have a limited amount of booster and if it runs out you have to fully let it regen before you can use it again. In combat this can screw you lol cuz you use it to dodge

I played the demo when it was announced and it made me a day 1 purchaser.
Had no idea what it was about etc but the gameplay was enough for me to say…yeah…I want more.

I dunno, i get it that it's just a short demo. But i feel like a full length game, doing those puzzles is gonna be annoying as all hell. Hopefully there's variations.

This is a game I will pick up when it hits 20/25 like most Capcom stuff.

I didn't really jive with the combat on the demo. That may be a me-problem, though, as a lot of people seem to like it. I tried it with both keyboard/mouse and controller. I just couldn't get the hang of it.

Exactly what I told myself. This will be a perfect pallet cleanser or drought game to jam out for a while once its on sale for 29.99 in two years.

I’m just stoked we are getting a story heavily troped with the older man transporting the young girl through some
Horror or another keeping her safe and usually the father stand in is always rude and gruff and just not very nice, which makes sense for the last of us which kicked this off.
It seems in this game we are getting that trope again but the player character dad stand in represents what a more positive way he can impact her life while still keeping her safe.
We’ve been needing less cynical media. The most recent game of thrones spinoff knight of the seven kingdoms proved that beyond any possible doubt.
They made an earnest show about objective good and evil and what it means to be a good man. No moral relativism. We need those stories again
