The Griffey thread got me thinking, with baseball almost back whose the starting lineup, 5 man rotation and closer you've gotten to watch that you'd put together? I'm in my early 40s so can't put in Aaron or so someone like that.

C. Ivan Rodriguez
1. Jeff Bagwell
2. Biggio or Altuve
SS. A Rod
3. Chipper
LF Ricky
CF. Griffey
RF Bonds
DH Gwynn

Clemens
Maddux
Pedro
Johnson
Ryan (my first idol)

Closer, Billy Wagner

In Person:

1B - Pujols (special mention Will Clark)
2B - Biggio
3B - Caminiti
SS - Ozzie Smith or A-Rod for vastly different reasons
OF - Ken Griffey Jr
OF - Jim Edmonds
OF - Larry Walker
C - Yadier Molina

I don't remember all the various starting pitchers I've seen in person. Randy Johnson, Adam Wainwright, Paul Skenes are among them.

Could probably just name the best players from 1997 to 2013

8 year old me would have said

Brad Ausmus
Tony Clark
Damien Easley
Deivi Cruz
Juan Encarnacion
Dean Palmer
Gabe Kepler
Bobby Higgins

Went to countless Tigers spring training games and thought those guys were the coolest
