EVERY SINGLE headline I've seen on their site and watching their network for the past two or three days mentions something about the war "spreading". Nobody else is reporting that the war is spreading, though everyone knows Iran has thrown missiles every which way into neighboring countries, but those countries have not all started firing back, though watching and reading CNN gives the impression the entire middle east is at war right now.
They want this to get ugly so bad.

I mean, it is spreading so they’re technically not wrong. Although their messaging is decidedly anti-Trump as always.

Iran attacking other countries with no retaliation does not meet my definition of a "spreading" war. Now, if those other countries decide they have had enough and start sending warplanes and/or troops to attack Iran and Iran's "allies" start attacking back, then yes, it's a spreading war.
The US sinking Iran's ships in the sea, outside of Iran, does not mean this war is spreading.

Even if it does spread by whatever nebulous definition we all can agree on (not likely,) it won’t “spread” for long I don’t think.
Iran cannot sustain anything long term and as I posted in another thread, I do t think anyone (China especially) is coming to their aid.
I could be wrong of course, but we should breathe and maintain a wait and see approach.

Watching the BBC. The presenters want it so bad as well but the analysts keep assuring them this is all a nothing burger from either the side of war or economically speaking. The presenters hate it.

Correct! If China and Russia are genuine Iranian allies, they'd have put pressure on America to stop this by now. Nobody's fricking with America in this, especially after seeing how balls-to-the-wall we're going against Iran.
Compare America's action against Iran so far to Russia's abilities and action against Ukraine over the past few years. There's no comparison.
If America ever does get into war against Russia, I think we can all be a little more confident in our ability to frick them up than we were before the Ukraine war.

Russia is pissed at us for supplying Ukraine with our weapons to use against them, sure. But I think any chance of Russia attacking the US because of it is now being wiped off their table after seeing what we're doing in Iran.
What the US is doing in Iran is nothing short of amazing. We are completely and utterly destroying them, all without our full arsenal.
