“Comic” Dave Smith: “US is arguably the worst terrorist organization in the world”

Dave Smith is a total.loser

These people have tied themselves so into “peace” that it has become a race to see who can outdo the next person. I’ll agree this is bungled when we send troops to occupy Iran. Until then, what has happened since the weekend has been mild.

I'm not sure "terrorist" is the world, but I do feel most of the deaths directly attributed to a nation's government... we'd certainly be at or near the top. And war is easily one of our most lucrative businesses as a nation.

I was an am pro-Smith. I think he lost his mind about the middle of last year with Israel Derangement Syndrome.

While I disagree with him on some issues, he's being whole consistent with his anti-war isolationist viewpoints.

I have oft-criticized Dave Smith, too.

He's the typical "muh CIA" guy. I've always criticized/mocked those people. The issue is many MAGA posters on here have spent years promoting the "Deep State" Theory, which aligns with the "muh CIA" stuff directly.

However, now Trump and his admin are 100% promoting the "Deep State" which conflicts with Dave Smith (and the prior stances of many, vicariously)

I like Dave and I think he's a very intelligent person. He's a very good debater and knows his stuff inside and out. He has a chip on his shoulder because I think he gets looked down a lot by a lot of people in this field because he is a comedian.

That being said, my biggest gripe with him and these Mearsheimer types are that nothing is ever Iran's, China's, Russia's, etc.'s fault.

The US is always the instigator in every conflict and they act like these countries are just sitting back, minding their own business while the US is bullying everyone.

I'm not a fan of every foreign policy decision we've ever made, but to act like we are the only ones ever in the wrong is laughable.

I watched most of that Piers show and it was very difficult listening to Smith......dude thinks he's an expert in ME geopolitics. He had some valid points but it was obvious he wants this operation to fail for his own purposes of "I told you so."
