..... this may be eye opening.

LINK

Inspired by a trailblazing transgender model, Malta has become one of the most accepting countries in the world in the past 20 years.

Clearly NOT a family-friendly destination!

I used to want to be transported to Malta since that place transcends beauty, but now I think I'll transition my future dreams to a place more traditional, like Transylvania, LA.

The original Transylvania (in Romania) is much more beautiful and affordable.

When I think of Malta, the first three things that come to mind are

1. Faith
2. Hope
3. Charity

If you know what I’m referring to, then you’re a true history nerd like me.

If you don’t…

On the other side, it has by far the most restrictive abortion laws in the western world.

I AM a history nerd, but focus on a different historical period than you (medieval into Renaissance)

I did learn something new today, and I thank you for that. That always makes for a good day!

I guess Malta has changed quite a bit.

If malta isn't family friendly, then the whole state of Louisiana is basically third world for families

I’m not. At all inspired, however, I quit working long ago about other people’s sexual habits. What is important in this world is fishing!

My wife is Maltese and her family (catholic) hasn't said a word about this. We're heading back this year and hopefully it's not out of control.

I knew a bouncer at a bar I worked at in college. He was stationed in Malta when he was in the marines. He said there were so many hot women there that he was convinced they killed all the ugly ones at birth

I almost did a semester abroad there. Also had the chance to take an "educational" trip to Cuba. I did neither.

My cousin spent a semester in New Zealand and had become a raging liberal who thinks borders shouldn't exist.

I'm happy with my choice not to become an insufferable person.

Not sure if I believe this. Was there last month and didn’t pick up on any of this at all. It was very beautiful.
