I'm going to go free TV and pay for the FoxNews app (comes with every FoxNews service) and ESPN app via ROKU.
I have a square RCA indoor antenna that I wish worked better. What is O-T choice of antenna?

What is the distance from the location you are setting it up to the closest major broadcast tower?

Just buy a cheap one from Walmart that’s what I have. There’s no difference in most of them. Add an amplifier to it to catch more channels. I had 8 channels on mine at first and couldn’t pick up ABC and CBS was hit and miss. After I added amplifier I get the 4 major networks and 26 channels total.

Just to add I’m in Prairieville and mine is at least 15 years old.

Not sure about indoor but I have a small outdoor antenna and was getting 35 channels. I moved into the attic and still get at least that many channels.

Can you link the amplifier?
I live in Lafayette and I cannot get CBS no matter where I set it up .

I bought a house built in the 1960s. When I went in the attic there was a giant old antenna up there. I hooked it up to a coax cable, ran to my TV and it did a great job of picking up all the local channels. You don't need a special antenna. Just get a big old metal one.

It came in one that my parents ordered that they never set up. They ordered it off Amazon it looks just like this.

Just a FYI for those who might use ChatGPT, it is great for asking about products. It will even find the product for you as well as where its bought for the lowest price possible.
I had a discussion with it last night about USB-C ports and why Apple sales theirs at a much higher price, etc, etc

Can you run it to your attic or are you stuck using one of the flat ones that can stick to the wall? If you can use an attic one your options are much better and your signal will be too.

Wild-arse guess that you are trying to pick up WBRZ and WAFB. WBRZ broadcasts from real channel 13; WAFB from real channel 9.
Meaning... that you need an antenna with the ability to pick up some hi-band VHF, especially for WAFB. Meaning... for reliable reception, you'll need something like this up in your attic.

Gemini or ChatGPT is the best for this. They'll tell you how far you are from the diferent station antennas and all kinds of AV shite and suggestions.

Yeah that’s the channels I have them now with the amplifier. This is like the antenna I use. Like I said it’s 15 years old but works great. LINK

I use it on mine and it actually helps pick up a few more channels than without.
