Anyone else on the Northshore forced to get their water from these thieves? Just got my bill 175.00 for the month and I was gone for 4 days.

Neighbor was higher.....closer to 200.00 for January

Yes unfortunately. Also can count on brown water a couple of days a month.

Yes, they are scum. They are trying to takeover every community in Louisiana and triple the prices. I was paying $60 a month before they took over then it went to $160

That is a major scam.

I would invtigate installing your own water well if you live on the Northshore.

I live in a subdivision and we pay a flat fee for water, sewer, garbage (twice a week), internet, roads, security and common ground maintenance and we can use all the water we want.

My bill is about the same as yours for four people and it goes up in the summer.

That company seems shady AF. There always seem to be pressure variances and discolored water followed days later by a heavy chlorine smell. We also get boil water advisories often.

I’ve considered a well but I don’t think we’ll be in this house long enough for it to pay off. I also think it’d be hard to get a drilling rig in the hood unnoticed.

There are a lot of DIY water well drilling videos on YT. Most people with water wells on the northshore drill about 200’. That might be possible as a DIY project if you are a pretty hands on person. Theoretically the neighbors would never know.

I am guessing that we are footing the bill for the new water towers going up in Slidell and Lacombe
