Trump has been coy in suggesting that both he and Vance would make great presidents. If they both were to run, I would foresee him withholding his endorsement during the primary.

I hope Little Marco runs, but I don’t know if he will. He has been by far the most impressive member of the cabinet. His resume is way better than Vance’s. He would also have the best chance of luring independents and centrists and winning the general election.

Rubio has already said he would be supporting JD.

I’d rather keep him as Sec State to be honest. He’s too valuable there

Rubio has won me over. So much better as a SOS than as a United States Senator. It's like he's been set free.

I know he has said that he will defer to Vance in 2028, but I just have a feeling that somehow it's going to be Rubio. Kim Clement, who prophesied about Trump back in 2007, also said he foresaw that America would elect our first Hispanic* President in the not-too-distant future.

I want God's candidate, whoever that is.

* No, it won't be the "Snow Goddess" also known as AOC.

I think Trump is setting it up Apprentice-style between Vance and Rubio. He always mentions those two and only those two.

I want Rubio and clearly he has Presidential ambitions since he’s run before, but I don’t think he runs a contested race against Vance. It’s sort of now or never for JD and I don’t see him passing up the opportunity.

The frustrating part is Rubio would do much better in a general election, IMO.

That's one way to look at it.

I hope you're correct because he's a gifted politician but I think Rubio the Senator was his true self. That's who President Rubio will be IMO.

His speeches as SOS are much much more refined and polished - even off the cuff conversations. As Senator, he was all over the place and whiny.

My concern wasn't his level of polish back then, it was him immediately shitting on the people he convinced to vote for him. That's not sloppy or whiny, it's being a typical DC politician. If you think his character has improved after all this time in the swamp I don't know what to tell you.

I hope he does. At this point Rubio is better than JD and Rubio will garner the Hispanic vote which is a huge voting block now.

Furthermore the Gav family picture can't MOG Rubio like he can JD.

That speech he gave at the security summit in Munich was one of the biggest home runs I've ever seen.

NO

Trump will get his third term in 2028 followed by a Vance/Rubio ticket om 2032 for two more terms and then a Rubio/DeSantis ticket after that. Following all of those will be Trump's son running.

JD is young enough to do another 2 terms as VP under Rubio and then run himself. No reason to burn his political capital so early like the democrats did with Obama.

Rubio is impressive. Definitely gives me “presidential vibes” when he speaks as SOS.

I don’t get the same from Vance.

I feel pretty confident in saying Rubio will be president one day, whether it’s in 2028 or later.

I haven’t seen polling, but I’d guess Rubio polls higher than Vance.
