I believe they just redid the entire dining facility prior to the past season.

It was under construction which meant limited access. The also used an out-of-state vendor, so not La food. And one of the biggest criticisms was that they did not offer “extra meals” like a lot of other teams (could have been due to limitations and outsourcing the food)

I’d assume it was more they didn’t like the quality of meals from an elite athlete nutritional group perspective more than they weren’t making the meals Louisiana is known for.

I meant the quality you’d expect from LA, New Orleans, not necessarily upset they didn’t have a spread of assorted LA cuisine.
The issue about not letting them take home a 3rd meal, was a big thing. Some teams basically allow their players to eat all meals at the facility as long as they were training that day

It’s the artificial turf. Players are becoming more vocal about wanting to play on grass only.
