How long do you give a movie to capture your interest before you give up and turn it off?

Very unscientific survey here.
Are you one of those people who watch the whole thing, even if it sucks, because you've already invested your time in it?
Do you give it 30 minutes and then bounce if it's not keeping your interest?
Opening scene?
I'm talking about movies at home btw, a theater experience would be totally different.

30 minutes sounds about right.
I don’t necessarily turn it off as much as playing a game while having it on in the background if it doesn’t grab me after a while.

Sunk cost fallacy is valid for movies. TV shows? Not so much.

I rarely give up on a movie I start, but if it’s just awful, I’ll stop after about 30 minutes or so.

15 if it's just awful from the start
20-30 if I want to give it more of a chance before it gets shut down

I’m a 20 mins maybe? My wife will start a show and within five minutes, say she has to finish it to see what happens. Even if a full season. And, some of the shows are fricking terrible.

30-45 if its just boring but ill quit 3/4 of the way through of they start with the unnecessary gay crap.
As an example i was enduring the new star trek up until the klingon and war academy kid started flirting at the bar in episode 4 or 5... had nothing to do with the plot of the episode or series they just wanted to add in some extra gay for no reason.
