You plant baws need to get up earlier for work. Traveling that stretch yesterday felt like a race track around the 4am timeframe. Most were doing 95+ easily weaving in and out of the 18 wheelers. A few miles down the road one had run off in the ditch and got stuck, one cop past just like nothing out of the norm was taking place.

Is that normal for that area? I’m used to Baton Rouge morning traffic where we just sit so who knows. Oh, and get off my lawn.

Reach between your legs and see if you still have your balls

If so, use them

You should experience Hwy 30 heading from Geismar to the interstate in the late afternoon. Lots of construction and impatient plant baws. It’s a cluster frick and I’m so glad I don’t have to be in that area very often.

I'll never understand why they put a traffic circle there....Just to have what, 3 red lights right after it?

Whoever designed interstate 10 through Beaumont needs to be shot. It’s got more curves than a formula 1 race track.

A lot of people are headed to Beaumont, Nederland, Port Arthur, etc.

i dont disagree, but if we're shooting interstate 10 designers, the Baton Rouge guy gets the entire first magazine.

Yep the inbound to Houston on 10 from the Eastside has gotten much worse with the growth of Mont Belvieu and now sadly Anahuac. Before long they will be building starter homes into Winnie.

I would hope those Mont Belvieu people are just committing to Baytown or Channelview. I wouldn't wish that commute to Houston on anyone.

I can barely handle Kingwood ot George Bush.

i have spent an inordinate amount of time on that section of interstate over the years for various reasons. it has been a terrible stretch of highway since the mid-nineties. pretty much everything from Highlands to Beaumont is awful, there's a decent stretch past Beaumont, then shitty again all the way past Lake Charles.

That stretch has gotten significantly worse recently with the expansions in SETX/SW Louisiana. That early morning fog is no joke.

Yeah a lot of mornings I’m hitting 59 at Northpark and that stretch until the airport can get dicey by 6:30.

I can see the big curve where I-10 hits US 96 and merges with it in a T Configuration. Then there is a smaller curve right before where US 96 leaves I-10. Then it curves again in Winnie where it is pretty much a straight shot.

Still doesn't beat the two curves in New Orleans East near the High Rise.

Those are some tight curves for three lanes going 60-85 MPH then to have to climb over the bridge, and deal with merging traffic.

I feel bad for an 18 Wheeler Driver.

I commuted from outside 99 in Richmond/Katy to Mont Belvieu for a year and a half. my company rewarded me after that by putting me on a jobsite in Galveston. then i quit.
