All the Dems had to do was stand up, and they would win and one-up Trump

That was a gamble by Trump, and the Dems really missed a chance stop the momentum, but after they sat, Trump grew more and more relentless in attacking their refusal to stand for anyone but illegals.
Talk about being brain-dead and lacking of any critical thinking
Of course, the risk would be that many of their 'constituents' are some of the 3.8 million illegals they gave social security numbers to under Biden, and a ton of middle-aged suburban white women who scream no one is illegal as long as they don't live on my street.

It's like their brain can't get past their hatred and emotion. It's like trying to reason with a woman.

The Dems have gone all in on their replacement policy. They know they cannot win on ideas, so the next time they are in power, they will give citizenship to every illegal, and will allow illegals to vote on a go forward.
All chips to the center.
It’s their only chance and they feel like they are holding the cards to win.
Honestly and unfortunately, they are probably right on a long enough time line.

Dems had a plan last night and that’s why they actually stood for the hockey team. They knew the team was coming and couldn’t look like the a$$hats of last year not standing for the child with cancer. Dems didn’t know Trump was going to do this last night asking them to stand for the safety and security of American citizens first. He caught them off guard, and it was beautiful.

I thought they would move to the center after Trump was elected.
I was wrong.
I was wrong.

I can't read Trump at all. Sometimes he acts like a brain dead senile idiot and sometimes he acts like a brilliant statesman that can put Sun Tzu to shame!!

Not really. He understands them and knows without a doubt that they just can’t help themselves. Absolutely no self awareness or self reflection.
Not a gamble, it was as sure a thing as the Sun rising from the east.

They no longer have a vehicle in which to do this.

That's probably because you have never had any major business dealings or negotiations
Trump has long believed in The Art of War and The Art of the Deal expands those teachings to negotiations, including, for lack of a better term, rope-a-doping people.
Trump has always been a lion in sheep's clothing. He is nice and personable by all accounts of everyone who knows him personally, but tough as nails when it matters.

Their TDS riddled constituents are saying the Dems aren’t left enough

What made me laugh was them looking around to see if it was ok to stand. Just a bunch of sheep.

If tweet fails to load, click here. “In the early 1900, they switched over stupidly to an income tax. And you know why? Because countries were putting a lot of pressure on America. We don't wanna pay tariffs. Believe me, they control our politicians. If you look at the kind of numbers that these guys make then and now”
Anyone complaining about tariffs is selling you out
We are all literally paying an income tax because US Politicians are taking bribes from foreign counties to enrich themselves
You should be furious

Serious question... what made you believe that? Did you see something in their behavior that gave you the impression that they'd dial back as opposed to tripling down?
From a psychological standpoint, they've made themselves monolithic and irreparable. Literally all they have is identity politics and victim mentality.
The longer Republicans (voters included) tolerate the Dims' behavior, the worse it's going to become. They've been in the FA stage for a decade now, but haven't received even a little bit of the FO effect.

If they had a modicum of common sense, the DNC could make up all the ground they lost in 2024 with the American public. Instead, they ran further to the left and had the face of their party release some cringe "67" account to relate to the generation that is slipping from their grip.
They will still win the midterms, but post-Trump they are toast.

Nothing in their behavior, but after Trump was reelected, it was obvious to everyone that most Americans were tired of their antics.
I assumed they would see this for themselves, but I was mistaken.
