A few arrests of people we’ve never heard of and that’s it.

I’ll be eternally impressed if we see Ilhan Omar and or Nancy Pelosi arrested, successfully prosecuted and sentenced to prison.

NOT….GOING….TO…..HAPPEN.

I can't imagine waking up every day and my first thought being, "nothing is going to happen." Must be a miserable way to go through life.

People at the level of Omar will not be arrested but if a lot of Somalis are arrested, money cut off and 10 of thousands are deported I would consider it a success.

Will outperform Kamala, the border czar (not border czar).
I’m guardedly optimistic about his potential use of technology (AI) to ferret out the abusers.

It is. Because nothing of even half arse significance ever happens.

It’s all talk, phony outrage and empty promises. Look at Patel and Bondi. They were the heroes and crusaders that were going to bring the Deep State down. How has that been going?

He should start by having Illan Omar dragged in, interrogated, denaturalized, jailed and then deported. And, getting all the wealth back from her and her husband to apply to our national debt.

100%. People wake up every single day, miserable and they can't pull themselves up, so they try to bring others down. I used to feel bad for them. Now, I just feel bad for their families, friends, and co-workers. It's tiring being around them.

Partially agree.

Some leaders need to fall, the system needs to be shaken to its core

Exactly. It's one thing to be chronically depressed or something and wake up feeling that way, but to run to the internet to spread your depression to other people is something strange. I don't understand it.

It is, but it’s an honest living. You have to accept that the only positive change that will happen in this world is that which you personally decide to make. Everything else is out of your control, and thus there is zero reason to invest emotionally into it. It will simply occur without any input from you, and you will have to find a way to deal with it.

I mean it's kinda hard not to think that way when it's always been the standard. If the UK can arrest a member of the royal family we should be able to throw politicians and billionaires in jail.

If by nothingburger you mean Democrat strongholds will be exposed for corruption and be replaced by independent and republican leaders, you’d be correct.

This is why we have political message boards.

DOGE found 200B in waste/fraud, which is 10% of the deficit.
Congress only cut 9B. We spend 9B every 2 days.

While the track record in DC over the years certainly gives you every justification to be highly skeptical and sarcastic about things, if you are truly convinced nothing will ever change then why even waste your time following it?

this assignment will be his litmus test for national leadership comparing his success/or not, against Kamala's assignment to fix the southern border.

should be an easy layup with minimal effort. But the opportunity to do something great is there, and I think he will.

Of course that’s not going to happen, because the two parts of the quid pro quo political transaction are not provable crimes.

We can’t prove that Ilhan Omar got political contributions because she influenced regulators to look the other way while the Learing Center did what they did. Nor can we prove that the Saudis gave Jared Kushner $2 billion to invest because the Trump Administration was doing them a solid. Both of these are probably graft, but what are you going to do? These have to be fixed by citizens at the voting booth.

I see this very differently. I think this is being handed to Vance so he can actually make significant strides in improvement ( exposure, elimination, arrest….) and such, shoot him into the office for 2028.

Studies show people with a pessimistic pragmaticism is a good way to manage anxiety. So not really a "miserable way to go through life".
