Coach's decision. You are not entitled to know why coaches make decisions.

Did they say they were? It’s a fricking LSU sports forum, he/she was asking a simple question.

Honestly some of y'all try to sound so hard and it’s corny as frick.

He said it because that's exactly what Kim said in her press conference tonight.

Zone Defense was Kim’s talking point…but “dog house” is likely the correct answer

Okay? People are allowed to speculate and ask questions. I like Kim, but idgaf if she thinks I’m entitled to information or not. And being a mouthpiece for the athletic department is not the purpose of this site.

Dog house?

Knox deserves to be in the dog house with the way she acted in the South Carolina game.

Speculation is that's why she sat.

It was likely a lesson in controlling emotions. Playing with emotion/fire can be great, but in the Ole Miss game she made a block and got called for a hard foul then for taunting. If she can control that fire her future is great(er). Maybe Mulkey responded by "coaches decision" because they are still working through that how that lesson is doled out. Hopefully it's just a short timeout. Grace is fun to watch. Maybe Coach knows they need a more seasoned version of her right now! This team plays hard defense but being very much under control will be critical in the tournament.

Honestly, is there anyone on this board who hadn’t already figured out what happened? This is the CKM method, and over time has been successful. She has said all she intends to say on the matter.

Why not quote Mulkey in your text? On a message board this response comes off as a little snarky.

As for my opinion, I have no problem with the OP’s question, nor the reporter that originally asked the question of Mulkey. Additionally, I have no problem with Mulkey’s answer.

IMO, Mulkey probably sat Knox to teach her a valuable lesson regarding staying under emotional control.

Cheers my man!

Zakiya Johnson was held out of an earlier game and Kim's answer was the same, coach's decision. Same with Angel in 2024. She keeps the linen in house.

If you watched the game YOU KNOW he reason. Unsportsmanlike behavior. She had done it before and this time it was worse! Punishment earned, Punishment delivered. No need to ask WHT, Coach did exactly what was needed and as a retired coach,,I would have done the same thing. If came had been close, it could have cost us the game,

Excellent answer. To the point, probably accurate, not reiterating the head coach like a lemming. Have an upvote.
