LSU Sports Teams currently not ranked: Women's Indoor Track & Field and Men's Basketball

Shaver needs to retire. I know he’s frustrated with NIL, but how many track programs actually have NIL besides Arkansas and Oregon? Plus a lot of programs with less resources have surpassed LSU.
He had a great run, but we’ve really fallen off the last 2-3 years. I would be surprised if he doesn’t retire after the season.

For the past 12 months, LSU has had 11 teams ranked in the top 25.
LSU has simply not been on a level playing field with Arkansas in T&F, especially since 2012 onward. For the women, the shift happened around 2005.

I’m hopeful we go after Petros at Illinois. He crushed it at UGA with a handful of multi event athletes every year.

You forgot football. Football finished unranked for a second year in a row and a change was made….hopefully coming soon for men’s basketball.
