Colbert didn’t want to have Jasmine Crockett on, so he lied that Trump used FCC

So Colbert didn’t want to have Jasmine Crockett on, so he made up an excuse saying the FCC barred his interview.

Colbert didn’t want to have to hire a translator for Crockett. He knew the translator screaming into his earpiece while trying to decipher what she was saying during a live show would be difficult.
