I didn't change. I've always been a pragmatist and a nationalist. I believe in doing what's best for the country regardless of which ideology others want to label it.
I also don't always agree with Trump but still support him, because I don't demand purity like many. I understand no one will ever agree with me 100%, so I support the man most likely to give me more of what I want despite his imperfections.
The whole convictions/principles argument is really just self-sabotage for the right. It keeps us fighting among ourselves about who is better, focusing on our own side, instead of the real enemies. It has us chasing appearances instead of results.
And it allows people like eddieray to stir the pot while we quarrel.

Makes sense to just support whoever is in office to succeed on our behalf. I think he has done well in some areas. And areas where I've been critical I hope to be proven wrong.
