Haven’t gone myself yet, but my BIL is going. What should I get him to bring me from the merch shop? What is your favorite thing you got?

t shirts and trinkets are my favorite thing to buy there. Bought a polo or two but wish I hadn't. Don't buy stuff with the year on it. Amazing gift shop. Plan ahead though. If you get in there with no plan you can panic buy and forget stuff.

Two items we use all the time (I went in 2018):

Masters coffee mug.

Masters burlap beach bag. Holds a bunch of shite, nice sturdy handles.

Also the garden flag is nice to put up during Masters week.

I went last year and would add masters folding chairs. Tell your BIL not to bring any and just buy the ones they sell.

Beers all come in a plastic souvenir cups so something to carry them would be helpful.

I like my toboggan.

I sweat so much that th shirts don’t last long.

The outerwear is great. Rain jackets, half sleeves, etc.

A towel and some ball markers are always nice.

I heard there's a ton of new/different stuff this year.

I use the coffee mugs every morning. Got two garden flags last year and rotate them out. They're both awesome.

The beach bag is great. Any clothing items you want are great.

The ball markers are cool but I don't use them because I prefer the circular ones that fit in my divot tool.

I went in 2024 and I bought all the usual stuff, but my favorite item was a small print that was a layout of the course with all the names of the holes. It is no bigger than a certificate you might frame, but it is colorful and a little whimsical.

They also have some faux leather looking head covers that are nice.

It is distinctive and unique.

And if you've been, (& I have been fortunate enough), everyone knows how delicious the pimento cheese sandwiches are.

I'm just curious. Everyone knows there food and drinks are really cheap at the tournament. Is the gift shop where they get you? What is the pricing like at the merchandise shop there?

It wasn’t too bad. On par with golf merch from nice clubs. They just sell a shite ton of them.

In general, yes.
Some of the prices are high, but it’s a premium experience so roll with it. Some things seem reasonable- hats, towels, markers.

You won’t have any trouble finding fun things to buy for yourself, family, and friends.

They do have Peter Millar originals and other premium items that seem high to me, but I did by a PM green vest one year so even I am willing to pay up.

I use to buy shirts, but now I stick to outerwear since it last longer for me.

The first time you go, it all looks great and you will probably spend more than you think you should.

After several visits over the years, I spend most of my time on the golf course. I walk through the gift shop to the right of 5 green which is less crowded than the one at the main entrance.

I usually buy a few things, but I don’t buy as much merchandise as I did the first time I visited Augusta National.
