No thread?

He didn;t have a lot of credits, but the ones he did have were memorable, especially Harold and Maude, a vibe that Wes Anderson has been trying to duplicate his entire career.
quote:

Bud Cort, who personified the role of Harold in the 1971 Hal Ashby classic “Harold and Maude,” died Wednesday in Connecticut after a long illness. He was 77.

His longtime friend Dorian Hannaway reported his death.

Cort also starred in Robert Altman’s “Brewster McCloud” and had roles in numerous other films and TV shows.

Harold & Maude was a great movie. Cort and Ruth Gordon nailed their roles.

I always liked that movie, but it never gets talked about. It's an interesting AI psycho-thriller with good performances.

And Virginia Madsen in her prime.

He comes across badly in the biography of Groucho's later years (which is being made into a movie). He was one of the lesser stars in the group that Groucho's last young wife kept around his house as her party entourage. Seemed like Groucho just liked having people around. She thought that being Groucho's wife and hanging around actors would get her into show business.
