Love the Friday parades.

Which is your favorite?

Krewe D'Tat by far.

They don't throw much, but the floats are hilarious.

I love Thoth. I used to ride in it.
I also like it because it starts somewhat early and takes a longer route, which is nice because there is easy parking in the area around Children’s. That ended of Magazine is not crazy crowded.

Difficult choice

Sentimental favorite is Hermes - when I made Confirmation in 8th grade our ‘service project’ was to put the costumes on the correct floats

In high school, we marched in the first Krewe d’Etat parade

If I was going to NOLA tonight, I’d just stand somewhere where I could catch all 3 parades

I love you as a poster but sometimes I worry about your reading skills.

What school you went to? (It’ll tell me all I need to know)

I love Thoth, too, plenty of my family used to ride in it - it was a bitch to march though. And it’s on Sunday

d’Etat was always my favorite parade when I lived Uptown.

I didn’t catch Hermes too often because I preferred to stay on Magazine to avoid all of the crowds on St. Charles.

Used to ride in Hermes. Friday was a marathon. You started drinking around 10-1030 am and the Ball / Supper Dance used to immediately follow so the day did not end until 330-400 am on Saturday. So you were going hard for 18 hrs or so. Saturday day parades were generally out.....would just go to Endymion at Mandinas

D’Tat has by far the best floats.

d'Tat is the best parade of Mardi Gras. Tucks is the most fun however.

It entered the chat when I misunderstood that the OP was only discussing two parades and not all parades.
