Said the same thing to my wife the other night. Where are the hours of media snippets for the missing children, whose parents stay awake at night not knowing where their children are. Only reason we see it is because of who SG is and who she works for. Sorry her mom is missing but what about everyone else that’s missing and no signs?

How are you missing the point? This isn’t about team Savannah or team kidnapper. It’s just many people go missing who never get 1/100 of this level of attention.
And it took 10 days for them to release the video they had almost immediately. What have they been doing these now 11 days?
Guessing that medication we were told she needed hasn’t been taken by her since the abduction so what does that mean?

I was saying this about 2 hours into the 1st day of coverage.
No offense to anyone, but I don't give a shite. I don't even like Savannah Guthrie. Why should I? She is a grossly overpaid arrogant liberal talking head.

I think this is a fair point
But I also think the reality is that non-high risk kids who go missing get pretty heavy media coverage. I don't know about y'all, but if a 6 year old girl from a normal family is missing on the other side of the country, my wife is all over it from the jump.
Now I do think some woman in her 80s without a famous relative would fly under the radar if missing, although I still think it'd be national news if video of a masked gunman broke alongside it.

Maybe so but do you hear about it for 12 days on every news media outlet? There are thousands of missing children, NONE have gotten this air time.

When it first happened they said she needed her medication. If not she would be dead within 24 hours. It’s been 11 days. Surely she is dead by now. Or did they lie about that

I'm not sure that's true but we're splitting hairs. Stuff like Natalee Holloway was nightly fodder for months.
I'm not saying it's fair. But people just aren't going to have the same interest in a 14 year old who does drugs and has run away 5 times. Which is sad, but I get it. People relate to their 84 year old mom being abducted. They don't relate to a high risk person from a high risk area going missing, which probably account for most of the missing kids we talk about in these discussions.
All that said, I'm not fighting too hard on your point, it's reasonable.

Where are all the flyers on every pole and building because the family members are so worked up that they feel they must do something?
Where are the appeals for every person in the area to check their properties and outbuildings and to search every inch?
Where are the cookouts and fundraisers to raise reward money?
Where are the TEARS? The begging? The pleading?
Has Savannah been physically seen in Tucson?
Hell, the sheriff checked out a week ago.
Crickets.
They are hoping everybody loses interest and goes away.
