I'm just gonna say it if you're too lazy to get an ID card you don't deserve a vote & I have no sympathy for you.
It's not a ridiculous process, it's not draconian, it's not a slippery slope, and it's a requirement for secure elections. If someone else has a better idea, I'm all ears

Maybe I’m missing something but how will this eliminate non citizens from voting if we only require valid ID? Don’t the leftist states give ID’s to everyone including illegals, thus still allowing non citizens to vote? I’m all for this because it would hopefully be a little more oversight but how would this effectively eliminate all the non citizens from voting?

Good point, the deep leftist blue states don’t have the same morality as decent folks, they kill babies as their eucharist, promote mutilating kids genitals, promote sexual deviancy at every turn. Forging ID’s for illegals seems the natural order of what happens if Thune and crowd get with the grown ups. It’s really back to, who counts the votes. The best remedy is to throw cheaters in prison. An even better fix, would be to disqualify any state found cheating from further federal elections until they can prove they’ve fixed the problem. That too, would never be implemented.
