Last time I checked there's 5 offensive lineman

The singling out of Campbell in the SB is wild. The guy had a bad game. So did the other 4. I've never seen the media hyperfixate on a player's performance (apart from QB) more in my life.

Worst game in the Super Bowl’s history for a tackle.
It’s not singling out, he had a historically bad game

Ok, so he struggled. He hasn’t been healthy since he injured his ankle. If he struggles next year, I’m sure the Patriots will eventually replace him. Chill out!

The left tackle spot is the most important for QB pass protection. That’s what made his bad performance so glaring.

Some people on here are blind to the logo. He objectively had the worst playoffs of any lineman ever and followed that with the worst Super Bowl effort of all time. He had a very bad stretch & it’s ok. He doesn’t play for LSU anymore.

Exactly the left tackle is looked at differently henceforth all the pub.

For a right handed QB. Right Tackle for left handed, for blindside protection…

Patriots rookie left tackle Will Campbell allowed a total of 29 quarterback pressures across four games in the 2025 postseason, setting a record for the most pressures allowed by any player in a single postseason during the Next Gen Stats era.

You must not watch much football

He's also a rookie, starting in the SB vs an extremely good defensive front. And he has been injured. Let's call it "a learning experience" for him and expect he'll do better going forward.

Vrabel sticking up for him says alot. Whether he truly sticks with him at tackle will say more. To be determined. Campbell will be a successful OL in the NFL.

He was drafted in the first round and paid a bunch of money BECAUSE he’s a LT. It’s the NFL, perform. If you don’t you deserve the scrutiny.

I actually watched a video that showed either all or most of the passing plays and was specifically watching Will Campbell. After watching, I was really surprised at how well he actually played compared to the narrative around his play. Yes, there were some bad plays on his part, however, there were more good plays than bad and I definitely didn’t see the historically bad game that was alleged. I’m not saying he was Larry Allen, but he also wasn’t as bad as people said he was.

Campbell singled himself out. The Seahawks were credited with 18 pressures on Maye. Campbell was responsible for 13 of those. Campbell singled himself out with the most number of pressures given up this season by any 1 OL in a single game...actually more than any 1 OL has given up since 2023. That is a FACT!

As an offensive lineman, the level of good you have to be is much higher than you’re realizing you give up a few pressures and it’s a bad game. Doesn’t matter how many good plays you make. He had a historically bad game, stats don’t lie

Might as well called in sick. He was horrid

What game were you watching? He got bent over and prison raped.
