The whole idea of celebrating BHM is a lose/lose situation… you’re either in trouble for not participating or in trouble for participating with “stereotypes”.
Nobody blinks an eye at celebrating Cinqo De Mayo with margaritas and tacos, or any other cultural observance with stereotypical cultural nods… but BHM is a friggin minefield.
