Who would you pick if you had your choice of anyone in the world?
Sucks everything in the world now has to be controversial and a big shitfest these days... even the halftime show.. be nice to go a while without all this crap...
It gets tiring..
But the wife and I were talking about who we would choose. It's actually hard to come up with a good one. There are not many legendary acts anymore. Yeah, there are a few now.. but seems like there were more worthy performers and bands back in the day.
My options I guess that would probably do a pretty good job.
Post Malone - seems like a big enough entertainer, his music fits a SB halftime show I think, it would be an exciting show, he's cool as hell.
Morgan Wallen - country/pop would work, he has a hell of a catalogue, would be an exciting show, could be some blowback if chosen.
Paul McCartney again- yeah, he's 80 something, I think he's still touring, I saw his concert a few years ago and it was awesome, legend to most people.
Very hard to come up with a good act... Like I said, I don't really have a clue..

I don’t care. I don’t watch any of them. Not my thing. Don’t know why it’s become a political issue.

I considered him, but figured he isn't quite big enough.
I think he'd kill it. He does some amazing covers too.

I know that's sort of an obvious choice around here. And I agree. Would be a great show.

Since we're all about international audiences, go get a band from abroad that can actually play stadiums
Liam and Noel having it out at a SB halftime would be elite entertainment

I would like to see a mash up style Super Bowl Halftime. A little country, a little rap, a little rock, a little old school. a little something for EVERYBODY

I don't watch NFL or the Super Bowl, but if I were like a programming director for them I would want a sound that is epic and over the top. Something like 30 Seconds to Mars.

I threw out Metallica the other day. Would have been a great halftime show. One of the last few things they have left to do at this stage of their careers is play the Super Bowl.
If not Metallica then I would go with these bands. AC/DC, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden. All these bands would be something different for a change. All still pack stadiums full to this day. All would not be just a draw for an American audience but they all are massive overseas to this day.
