The Broncos would have won if not for Nix’s injury

Sean Payton must be so pissed. Sean has had some really bad postseason luck.

Weather played a massive factor in that game, nobody scores much in the 2nd half regardless
Payton lost the game

Sean would have looked like First 4 games of 2007 Sean Payton against this defense.

The broncos were carried by their defense. Even with Nix, they're basically a mirror image of this Patriots team.

This thing is running like wildfire…for no reason at all.

I’m not sure it would have mattered. The Seahawks were the best team in the league this year.
Posted on 2/8/26 at 9:12 pm to SelaTiger
They most definitely would not have

Sean P might not be as good of a head coach as you think.
A lot of post season bad luck or maybe he just got it right in 2009.

Broncos and Bills have to be sick watching this

Maybe Sean shouldn't have gone for it with a qb that hadn't played in 2 years and he would be in the Superbowl.

Would have been a much better, close game. Seahawks better but Broncos would have had a decent chance to win. If you watched the AFC Championship you knew this shitty Patriots offense gave them zero chance to win.

Doubt they would’ve beaten Seattle, but it would’ve been a better game than this shite.

Seahawks and Rams were miles ahead of anyone else

Sean P outsmarts himself in more spots than people realize.
I've been trying to say that on this board for a while, but I was always called a bitter Saints fan

I think this is one of the most widely recognized criticisms of Sean Peyton.

quote:nah. It would've been the same. Shitty offense carried by a good defense all year? Am I talking about the Broncos or the Patriots? Can't tell.

Jags were more physical than either by the end of the year.

Yeah but they're the Jags.

Being a Saints fan, he most certainly was. But when Dennis Allen replaced him, it made people miss him more than maybe they should have.
He's a good coach but he's botched a handful of chances too.
