The details are damning

A man in Louisiana found out his SO was pregnant. He didn’t want her to keep the child (she wanted to keep the child) and contacted a doctor in California to mail him the pills that he then slipped to her. The doctor apparently knew about the man’s plans.

Oh wow.

I didn’t know that was the back story, but I have wondered what’s keeping people from slipping them to their girlfriends, wives, daughters, etc.

Just wait till California charges a 88 year old no longer president Trump for something they just made illegal that he might have done in 1972.

And Florida refuses to hand him over.

Gayvin will act like Florida is nazis.

Becasue it puts them in a pickle and destroys their defense of abortion. If a man slipping a pill to his girlfriend that in effect terminates the pregnancy the women should be upset and call it murder. But they know they would then have to admit that a woman's choice to abortion is a really a woman's choice to murder her fetus.

This is a perfect example of “bad facts make bad law.” It would be a bad precedent for Louisiana to be able to extradite doctors from states where abortion is legal to punish them for performing abortions pursuant to their state’s laws on citizens from Louisiana.

However, this case goes above and beyond that. This is allegedly a doctor conspiring across state lines to drug a woman without her knowledge in order to perform an involuntary abortion, aka, a murder.

That's premeditated murder!

I'm actually thrilled that one of the 2028 Democratic front-runners is fighting on this hill because it will show the country just how fricking far left the democrat party is on the abortion issue.

I know of at least one which is up in arms because the weakness of their rhetorical platform has been shown to them, so now they've devolved into the usual emotional histrionics.

I can guarantee that no doctor sent abortion pills to a man to end a pregnancy a mother did not want to terminate. That simply didn’t happen. But let’s continue to poke fun at this dumb count LA AG who got told to pound sand for a second time.

wow, women’s right activists should be all over this and siding with the mom of these facts are true

but this is where you see the “women’s march” and “women’s rights” don’t have anything do with women, only liberal causes

how can you guarantee this? feelings or you have facts?

I want facts and if this has to go to trial to get said facts we should all be in agreement, right?

Why does the back story matter. If the boyfriend did what Cassidy said he did, why does it matter if it is not killing a baby?

Based on everything I could find you are straight up lying.

He didn't slip her the pills. She was "coerced" in to taking them and they were ordered with her information and her email address. The Dr. did nothing wrong that I can see. If the guy forced her to take the pills against her will then of course he should be charged, but he hasn't been charged with a crime.

This dumb count sent a warrant for a doctor in NY over a year ago so it’s a good thing we have a fresh one to laugh at.

so the doc should have some evidentiary proof that the woman was his patient, and that he had direct contact with her and her alone before prescribing the pills

i mean, dispensing prescription medication across state lines should have some sort of safeguards to prevent someone from obtaining drugs illegally, shouldn’t it?

Why are you giving these people facts as though they care? They think a sky fairy molded a little baby and put it in the belly of expecting mothers. Facts are not of interest to them.
