That we can fault him on getting g paid in his co tract.

He needs to find a job to get payment.

CLM was actually looking for a job and he didn't have an additional $55 mil guaranteed coming his way. BK is not looking for a job because he has an additional $55 mil coming to him.

I don’t think Kelly cares anymore. We essentially gave him a massive retirement package. Maybe he chooses to coach again, but probably would be a mid major.

Les got a job at one of the worst programs in the country. A guy who had played for 2 NCs, won 1, and averaged 9 wins a year in the toughest conference in America could ONLY get a look by one of the worst programs in America because his buddy was the AD. What does that say about how the market felt about Les?

BK is 64 years old and is collecting a big pay check every month to literally do nothing but play golf and drink wine. Given that, I doubt he's all that eager to jump back into the coaching world again....if at all.

He does not. He only needs to show that he is looking for a job. It is easy to sabotage interviews.

Les wanted a job, Kelly doesn’t. He’s getting paid 53mil to “look” for a job.

Les is a much more likeable person than Kelly

but don’t forget the AD at Kansas back then was a very good friend of Les’.

This is the right answer.

He'll get a job if he wants one. He was a very successful coach, despite his flaws.

His win percentages have been top-level everywhere he has been, even at LSU.

Noone really cares if you're an a-hole if you win. Particularly at schools that are hungry for wins. So there are jobs to be had for him, but they may not be P4 jobs, almost certainly not top P4 job, if he wants them.

He doesn’t want one. He is in his 60’s with $50 mil guaranteed to him.

Why is this hard for yall to grasp?

The Kansas fans I interacted with were very excited about getting Les, even after season 1. The shine wore off when the allegations against him came out, plus there were some rumblings about his cognitive decline beginning about the same time.

Did BK get the full buyout or was it a negotiated deal? If it was negotiated the first thing the fired party is going to ask for is to throw out that "look for a job" language.
