Rumor is Jacob Elordi recently met with Villeneuve and Amazon about playing James Bond

This morning, Elordi, 28, received his first Oscar nod for “Frankenstein.” It’s been a wild last few years for the Australian-born actor, who broke out with HBO’s “Euphoria” and has since taken off, working on films by Sofia Coppola, Emerald Fennell, Paul Schrader, Guillermo del Toro, and Ridley Scott.
Friedman’s story, which has now been picked up by Drudge, reports that Elordi has had meetings with Bond producers, Amazon/MGM and director Denis Villeneuve. If he gets the job, he’d be the youngest 007 ever, which does align with previous reports that Amazon was looking for a young Bond to reboot the franchise.

I liked him before but seeing him in The Night Manager, I'm sold.
If they're not going to go with him, I'd rather they go with a relatively unknown though.

I just can't get into the the new young A list of actors. I know Elordi is supposed to be "hot" but he's weird looking as hell to me and I don't want to get started on lil Timmy Chalamet

Good for him. Solid dude .... a wiry, but strong looking 6'6" and tougher than you might think. I did something with him in China that required more than posing for the camera. He would make a fine bond from what I've seen.
