Have to be in Thibodeaux tomorrow around lunch. Where to eat that’s not a chain?

I think Peppers is reopened if you feel like pizza. Spahr’s if you want seafood. Big Mike’s if you want BBQ, but everyone working there looks like a convict. Go Fish for sushi.
Those are all casual places. There are some classier joints, but pricier.

DO NOT go to Politz’s.

If you go to Spahr's make sure and tip the bartender.

Another vote for Spahr's. Eat at the Des Allemends location half dozen times a summer on the way to Grand Isle.

Get some Bourgeois market sausage and other goodies on your way home.

They have a turkey “cheese” like hog’s head that is pretty interesting.

Shut it down in the Lowe’s parking lot and had a skrimp pivot at off the hook.
It was very good and their sweet tea was da bomb. Would eat there again and hopefully park closer.

Off the Hook has the best burger in Thib.

That place is solid.

They really have a great model - hope the can keep the quality as the expand.
