Watch him react to a balloon being popped a couple of months after being shot.

Of course at this point he may have forgotten that he was shot.

He wasn't shot in 1987.

Well hell, I didn't even look at the year there.
Still yet, he showed no signs of PTSD from it. No fear.

So? Who cares. It still shows Reagan was a badass.

Funny as shite, but I think the most badass line of his (when asked about the USSR and Warsaw Pact), "We win, they lose."

It makes me wonder. Who was the biggest badass we have ever had for a POTUS? We have had quite a few. And I bet most people would think George Washington. But I think for my money I'd go with Andrew Jackson.

Reagan certainly had a sense of humor.

So what? So the truth doesn't matter if it gets in the way of a story? If he had acted like it wasn't a big deal 2 months later with his wound still healing, yeah that is really badass. But that is about 72 months later. It is a pretty big difference. Regan has enough badass moments that we don't need to make up shite

He was rather 'simple' in matters of governance as he held a handful of things under his stead. If a matter fell outside of those, no energies invested.

Met him when he was running for POTUS - in Ruston - and asked him about the Panama Canal. He was very kind.

First Republican I ever voted for and have continued to this day.

At that age to react in such fashion shows how smart he was.

I'm sure being shot is something you just forget about after a couple of years. Easy peasy

Good choice, but T Roosevelt is up there well

Also A. Lincoln (was a wrestler and is in the wrestling HOF)

Eh. Jackson was a war veteran by the time he was 15 years old. Lost both parents early with no formal education, educated himself in law. Lived most his life with a bullet stuck about an inch from his heart. Destroyed the central bank and gave no fricks about the consequences of taking on the banking cartels.

A lot more than that actually. He was an extremely impressive man. Tougher than frick.

Perfect reply under the circumstances.

Either Washington or Jackson.

George was a pipe hitting motherfricker in the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War, and led federal forces AS PRESIDENT in putting down the Whisky Rebellion.

That said, Andy was hard-core, with a number of skins on his wall before the War of 1812, where he made his bones. Prevailed in a number of duels.

Was walking through the Capitol when an assassin stepped out from.behind a pillar to shoot him. Gun misfired and Jackson set upon him, beating his arse to the point of almost killing him until people pulled him off the assailant.
