So when will the medical overlords start pushing masks again?

A doctor was on Scoot (Nola propagandist, I mean…radio host), and the Doc was promoting
masking. He even said that if you are sick, and go outside, that you should wear a mask.
ETA
no I don’t listen normally, but was in a car as a passenger and it was on.

Are these people on crazy pills?

I wear a mask so my wife’s boyfriend won’t be at risk of catching a cold when I do their laundry

Other countries (like Japan) have done this for a long time.
I don’t really have a problem if sick people wear masks so they don’t cough, sneeze, etc and spread viruses.
I do have an issue with making healthy people wear masks simply because it makes someone else feel safe.

So what is your issue with someone wearing a mask if they are sick? That’s just normal advice like saying you should take some medicine for your symptoms.
