Mickey’s Donuts on Airline.

Even if they don’t have one, anything else will be just fine.

Thank you for the comment that doesn’t help at all.

Zero percent help.

But congrats I guess.

I had it once and was unimpressed. I’m in agreement.

This.

Boudin and king cake don’t belong together. But the boudin kolache from Shipley’s is fricking banging.

Im a king cake purist and I also find this to be an abomination. King cakes are king cakes.

There is no such thing as a boudin king cake, muffelatta king cake, sushi king cake or anything else. You just made food into a circle during carnival. When you do this I assume you suck at both food and marketing.

Just saw a video this morning with those two Cajun women making one. Seemed pretty easy. Crescent rolls, boudin, cheese, and some pepper jelly is about all you need other than the egg wash they put on the rolls before baking.

agreed.

If I want boudin I don't think "king cake"

if I want King Cake i definitely don't think boudin.

I however wish OP luck on his search and I hope the boudin cake doesn't have icing.

It’s not a king cake, they just call it that because it is a circle/oval and resembles the shape. It’s basically just a boudin stuffed bread. It is dam good though.
