It's wild to think about.

And with it now blatantly obvious that Nuss wasn't really hurt and just bowed out of a bad season, it looks even worse.

Once the season was officially a wash, Nuss decided to start gearing up for the NFL, and it's hard to blame the dude.

frick Brian Kelly. . I hope he gets another job so I can watch him fail.

Nuss just wasn’t ever a good QB. Even in 2024 people act like he was so great but against good SEC competition he was complete garbage. I don’t see it working out at all for him in the NFL

You’re always going to lose a few games a year because of Nuss as your QB his decision making under pressure is so bad

There was definitely a difference in his performance from the previous year. Took a huge step back. I dont care whether he was hurt or not I just never felt the least bit confident he could come back and win a game for us.

Some of you just form the worst takes and then won’t let facts change your opinions and guesses.

Here is Nuss talking about last years injury

Anyone with eyes could see the difference in how the ball came out of his hand this past season. It was obvious he was hurt, but BK had no backup plan.

It’s wild that after everything has unfolded people like you still blame Nuss. He had a core injury that the coaching staff mishandled. Anybody who has thrown a football before knows the core is a massive part of your throwing motion. It was very obvious this season when he was underthrowing every pass. We saw him the previous season overthrow deep balls all the time.

I believe he had an injury to start the season, but I think it just got in his head and spiraled out of control.

Remember, that Nuss’ dad was an active NFL coach at the time, so I am not convinced there was any mishandling of his situation.

Brotha Nuss wasn’t injured in 2024 and still made horrible decisions continuously and shite the bed against the best teams on the schedule. It’s time we stop trying to defend him and just face the facts. He didn’t pan out and that’s fine.

Yikes. Lets start picking apart this BS by Nuss.

quote:

"We finally got some answers... about a month ago, we finally figured out what it was. We finally have a good plan to get healthy. It was a game-time decision to see if I could come out here."

So is the LSU staff this incompetent that he played all through Summer ball and half the season and it took UNTIL LAST MONTH to figure out what his real injury was? I know yall dont actually believe that.

quote:

"I couldn’t use my core," Nussmeier explained. "So I was throwing the ball without my core."

Lets go to the A&M Game. LINK

42 seconds in, there Nuss SCRAMBLING and using his CORE MUSCLES to make a throw on the run.

2:13 Throw to the flats. ABSOLUTELY USING HIS CORE. LOOK AT HIS TORSO TWIST.

2:21 Slant to Green. Using his Torso.

2:33 TD Pass to Green. Using his Torso.

4:29 Slant, Using his Torso.

7:51. Nuss' longest completion of the year right there. Only his 2nd completion over 25 yards out of 22 attempts. USING HIS TORSO

Come on bruh. He's trying to get drafted so now all of the excuses come out. Face it. Hes got cement for feet, has trouble reading defenses, and is prone to make bad decsions under pressure.

Brian Kelley will make LSU pay every penny of that 53 million, or whatever it is buyout. He will go through the motions to comply with his, "duty to mitigate," clause.

Going from the SEC champion game to last years record, combined with the buyout makes him the worse coach in LSU history.

Some people don't like truth. Look at all those down votes. So sad.
What you said is accurate.
