Yes. The main method of transmission is handling fecal matter.

People like SFP, Clark14, Boosie, and errerrwhere will need to be careful. The rest of us should be fine.

Nipah is not that contagious - typically has an R0 below 1.

Very, very lethal, yes. But not highly contagious.
