Pretty certain that McMahon will be shown the door Sunday after a loss to South Carolina

Much like when a school waits for the bye week to fire a football coach. LSU does not have a mid-week game next week then has a home game Saturday afternoon.

The buyout difference between now and the end of the season is irrelevant at this point.

Woodward tried to kill the men’s basketball program. Ironically his refusal to rehire Wade ultimately led to his firing.

South Carolina just lost 95-48 to Florida at home. No way LSU is bad enough to lose that game.

Were you in a coma when South Carolina boat raced LSU at the PMAC?

I don't know what you gain by firing him now. Just let him go end of season but start the search now.

Verge isn't going to sit on this. The man has been waiting for this job for 20 years and has come out with dragon energy.

Just let him coach the season out. Hurts nothing.

Why not fire him now? Gives us lots of runway to hire a coach for next year. He has had enough time. Its clear to everyone he aint the guy. Let tasmin run it as interim

Because McMahon despite sucking hasn't really done anything egregious to warrant early dismissal. It's late January. Waiting 30 days isn't giving you any advantage besides headlines.

LSU basketball would be a bottom headline anyway. Half the fan base probably doesn't even know who coaches mens basketball.

Not hardly. And that's why I believe LSU will beat the socks off of Carolina Saturday night.

Tonight's game vs Miss St was a trap game. The team has honed into the rematch with USCe since that Jan. 6 embarrassment.

Good call but basketball is not like football. Things average out. I’m guaranteeing lsu will beat South Carolina

So just throw in the towel?

At least David Patrick or Tasmin might generate some interest for the remaining home games

People say there have been articles about this. Anyone care to link any? I’m legit interested in reading them because this just sounds like one of those “rant facts” that are just rumors passed around until they’re accepted as fact. Not calling you a liar at all good sir I’ve just never seen this anywhere else other than TD.

ETA: seen a few blurbs that say “reports indicate,” but I haven’t seen such reports.

People will say there’s no point in doing it mid season but it’s clearly going to happen the program is dead. Just do it and get it over with why delay the inevitable

Thanks, sir for your concern, but I would like to see your professional credentials authorizing you to determine that a man is or is not crazy.

Agree. Get rid of the stench. Breathe new breath into this stale program..
