I didn’t get into hype but I thought he could push .500 in SEC play with this team. McMahon really is a terrible coach. I almost feel bad for him.

Same as in 2022-23. Tigers started out 12-1. That was a less talented team than this year's, but that first year of McMahon they showed a little fight on occasion.
This year's OOC schedule was monumentally weak. Even teams like Omaha and those in the Emerald Coast tournament offered only token opposition.

Most knew to be cautious. A few outspoken ones seem to overreact on most every topic on here.

Calling that hype is quite a leap. 10-12 folks on a message board was about the extent of any hype - and that was countered by the other 10-12 folks that talk about hoops here calling them idiots.

That's not entirely correct. After they beat SMU, they were getting hype from national folks as a tourney team and a high scoring offense.
