I have it from a credible source that Wade isn’t necessarily happy at NCST and would consider coming back to LSU. I would have never believed it but my source was pretty reliable. We shall see.

Anyone that thinks we aren’t going to do anything we can within reason to go get Will Wade isn’t paying attention.
I don’t know if he’ll do it but obviously LSU is going to try and hire Will Wade. If we can’t get him I’m confident this crew will bring in a significant upgrade from Matt McMahon.

What basketball circus?
He wouldn't be hired as an assistant coach on the current staff. It would be his program again...under a different, now friendly, administration. The same donors networks he generated funds from for both LSU and McNeese are still here. The actual basketball fans would happily welcome him back. The only people who are "anti-Wade" are people who aren't really basketball fans to begin with OR just want to take the contrarian position for the sake of taking it. Otherwise, what fan wouldn't want to bring back the HC who (a) had the highest winning % in the program in 100 years and (b) took the team to 4* straight NCAA tournaments for the first time in decades (with no end in sight until he got fired)?
There is no "circus". The ONLY reason the program is dead is because the guy in charge of it hasn't been good...at all. Fix that issue with the right hire and suddenly the program is good again. Literally in the span of one offseason.
