I’m sure A Bear is after them. I’m at home with the generator running. And it appears power is still on at camp.

Not sure about there but Memphis avoided most all the freezing rain.
Lots of sleet though.
North MS is very bad.
Town I grew up in in NE MS the county electric has 100% of their customers without power.
County west, where my farm is has 95% without power.
It’s that way across north MS. Crews can’t work either because of falling limbs.

My 2 boys went out this morning, oldest shot at a doe an we only found white hair then started pouring. Went back look and nothing.

No that’s at my lease in the hill county. The big one is at my ranch in South Texas. He hasn’t showed up in a couple weeks.

I just pulled up at the parking lot! Woke up a little later than I wanted, then had to make the drive up. Going scout around until I find something I want to hunt. I have a couple good ones on camera, but I can’t seem to put the pieces of the puzzle together. There’s a big slough I’m thinking they are traveling, and then dodging off that slough, and every now and then they end up by my camera. Going walk that slough today, and find somewhere to set up.

Went outside to blow snow off steps and whatnot, ducks and geese in the air. Guess the country club pond down the street is still open. Walked out to street to check road conditions, it’s slicker than owl shite. Going to wait for vets hunt next weekend.

Scouted around midday, but didn’t find anything I liked. Backed out, hopped in the truck and made a short drive to a spot I was hunting during gun season. I had a camera in here and was getting a few pics of a nice 8pt. There’s a scrape about 25 yards from me that I’m hoping he’ll come freshen up this evening. Good luck!
