Truly and astounding day. Ole Miss students fought the national guard in the street...to prevent a tax-paying, Korean War veteran from attending school there.

You're lying to yourself. What was democrat during Jim Crow is now Republican. It was a completely different political system back then. The R side is fine with killing and disappearing anyone who doesn't go along them. These are mafia tactics. Not a democracy. This country is no better than any other dictatorship at this point.
And I'm sure some have had relatives that fought, maybe even died, to defend our principles as a country. We were supposed to be leading the charge of being humanist. Making life better for EVERYONE, not just people who look like you, and vote like you.
Now, we've been reduced to greed, corruption. And also murdering citizens in the streets. We're done as a country.

Develop networks and pay to import poor people of color from all over the world
Once here ship them to Dem plantations
House them, feed them
All for cheap labor and to exploit them for money and power
Then when the Fed tries to stop them try and kick off a war.

You're swallowed the narrative Democrats put out there to deny always being the party of slavery and racism.
FDR was not a republican and he wouldn't be a Republican now. Democrats in the 40s and 50s and 60s were absolutely focused on expanding that same vision of Democratic Socialism.
Just like they are today.
