Congrats to the MBB Team

Great game. I know they came up short, but they gave it their all. I was proud to be a Tiger tonight. FU off to all of the people against Matt. This team can play and can make a run in the tournament. They play great defense. They are playing as a team. I wouldn't want to play LSU on an neutral court and definitely not in the tourney. If they don't make the tourney, come back and give me grief. A bouce here, a rim defect there and this team pulls off a major upset on the road in the SEC. Listen to the SEC broadcast team after the game. They see the same things that I am seeing. Geaux ahead, give me the business. I can take it. I am proud to be a Tiger and have been for 65 years!

Why is it only ok for men’s basketball to just “try hard” and get close to winning?
It’s not ok in football. It’s not ok in baseball. Why is it ok for McMahon’s teams? I never heard anyone say that it’s ok that Kelly’s teams “tried hard” after a loss.
Pathetic mentality and apathy has clearly settled in on this program. Time to make a change.

I seriously think we have some of the worst basketball fans in the SEC. You stupid MFers sit here and make excuses for one of the worst coaches in not only LSU history, but conference history. It's insanity.

I like your positivity, but I don't agree that they play great defense. They have played good defense at times, but they give up too many 50 point halves. They need to play more consistent defense, because with Thomas, I think the offense will be consistent. If they improve their defense, they will be a very good team.

He’s a better XO coach the Wade, Clerly…. Doesn’t have quite enough talent…and having reed out hurts bad…Ranters oughta screech to $$$$$ men…. college sports is buying players…put up more dough….

People on here want to fire the softball coach for Christ's sake and she has made the tournament a bunch.
Yet, for some reason, they keep making excuses for this bum McMahon. It's absolutely absurd. Your post is right on point and something I've been asking for a couple years now. It's amazing every other sport is held to higher standards than basketball, the only other profitable sport besides football. It's ridiculously stupid that people want us to accept this shite show of a basketball program that McMahon has.

I don't think many of you know how behind we are in NIL in basketball. We're one of the worst funded basketball programs in the SEC and Power 4/5 at that. None of our donors care about hoops.

I give to NIL in football, basketbal (men's and women's) and baseball, because I love LSU. I will keep supporting our teams, because I love LSU. shite or get off the pot. I would bet that most of the negative posters to this thread have never given a dollar in NIL funds to any of those sports.
