Baldwin County eastern shore isn't challenging enough and is raising soft kids. Need some B-Lo diversity and elements.

Why would this be a bad pick?

Because he's only ever coached high school football?

I didn't say it was

the "the frick" was just that it came completely out of left field

I think teams should take more chances instead of hiring the same losers over and over again

But this is out of nowhere. He's never coached anywhere to my knowledge beyond HS. That isn't a prerequisite: the guy is super smart and knows the game really well. Being an NFL HC requires a lot of the same skills as being a starting QB...but its not the same thing either.

It will be interesting.

Also: this team is a contender. They rarely go with guys like this for those roles.

One minute Ole Phil is raising 30 kids, coaching high school football. The next he's starting NFL games and interviewing for head coaching gigs.

Doug Pederson went from HS to NFL, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't directly to HC.

What NFL coaches have had zero NFL or college experience? Can't be common. Jeff Saturday was an interim (and a disaster)

I believe this is called a midlife crisis.

The bills are going to “interview” a shite ton of people. I’d put about a 0.1% chance rivers actually wants the job or is even considering the job (that goes both ways)

It’s likely going to be 2 weeks before bills announce anything so I expect peiple to put themselves on a hot take roller coaster in all directions over the next 14 days

Can’t wait for the Bill Bellichek interview to happen

Dude has been around the NFL and played at a high level for very long time. He has the experience. Much better than some NFL retread.
