Thanks a lot, guys! I'm sure the ability to shut off your car at any time won't ever be abused by the government. Not like the Biden regime would have loved to use something like this against their political enemies.

Democrats vote in lock step and POS RINOs hand them the majority. Useless.

Let's hope so. It sounded like they snuck it into 2021's Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and it's set to be mandated of all car manufacturers starting in 2027. Like it was already passed and the amendment was to stop this part of it.

They are saying it's technology specifically to detect drunk driving, but does anyone believe that?

Nope.

We're gonna get our 15 minute cities and pandemic lockdowns for real, with permits/taxes required to drive past certain distances or at certain times.

ETA: should be great for used car sales, though.

I think the majority of America First/MAGA types have been saying this^^^ for the past 8 years. Trump's worst enemies in his first term were the Recucks in the House and Senate who were playing like they were MAGA while trying to kneecap Trump behind his back.
