If we are unable to get a commitment from him what other OL would Lane Kiffin be pursuing if anyone.

This is the next highest OL:
Broderick Shull
He was a mid 4* commit to Auburn, but he's ranked in the 400s as a portal transfer

Dropping that low when you barely got playing time is stupid lol.

To piggyback off this. Just as a comparison, Seaton has a .98 grade on 247.
Shull has a .86 grade
Seaton has a PFF grade of 91.4 pass 54 run
Shull has a overall PFF of 69.
fyi 60+ is power 4 average

I'm curious as to why Seaton has such a low grade on run. There's a lot that goes into this like scheme so clearly they expected him to pass block more efficiently than run block.

I read a little on this... admittedly not read enough. But it appears for whatever reason, every linemans run grade is significantly lower. Maybe when im not working, ill research it

Run is difficult to evaluate in the age of the RPO. There are less and less teams each year that get down into a three point and fire off of the ball.

Saw a huge.Miami OT hit the portal.

he would be a luxury but we are good without another player

Big Miss.st left tackle entered the portal. Looked promising

I wonder why we aren’t trying to sign Auburn’s Shull. He is rated higher than any of the linemen that we lost to the portal as both a transfer and a high school recruit, and higher than all of the ones that have committed except for Harper.

The other question is who do we have on board right now that can be a good left tackle?

Jayvin James, who started primarily at left tackle for Mississippi State in 2025, confirmed on social media that he would transfer to Alabama with two seasons remaining of eligibility.

What’s his buyout?

I don’t think he is a starter but I like Nyer Daniels, UGA OT RS-FR
