Cignetti has proven that you don’t need much time to build a title team.

With how lsu and Miami are hitting the portal I wouldn’t be surprised if they meet in the natty next year.

X factor for lsu is how much leavitt injury has had an effect on his ability to play. If he recovers fully and plays at a high level, watch out.

It's not impossible.

But, unfortunately, it's just not that easy.

We will have a good roster (I don't think we will be head and shoulders above the best)

We will have a good coaching staff.

That will give us a fighting chance. But, a realistic view for being in the title game is probably 1 in 5 at best.

Very well said.

Miami isn't highly ranked in the portal. They lose at least 2 of their stud DL and no QB as of now worth anything special. Now I can appreciate you having confidence in the hometown team but how did you come up with Miami? Its not like they were dominate all year they loss 2 ACC games in a not so strong year for league.

In theory they will have a better offense next year is what I think he is going on, Mensah is hands down a better QB than Beck and their secondary should be stronger as they played a lot of young guys there. Stronger offense, weaker defense. Its possible and all it takes is getting hot at the right time and right now minus Indiana it looks like not being undefeated is the strategy until they change the bye week.

with mensah they will be better on offense

Also Seaton is either going to lsu or Miami as both have a lot to offer so the U is going to reload

Not to mention they are in a similar situation as lsu being the only serious p4 program in a talent rich state. FSU is a mess right now and may take some time to fix so Miami is THE team in the state of Florida and is locking down recruits so they will be loaded every season

\No, what he proved is that a well balanced cohesive team that plays fundamentally sounds football is capable of outperforming teams with talent advantages

Mensah just got served papers from Duke in a breach of contract lawsuit which is going to be a Hugh deal going forward with portal kids. This will end up being just what we needed to make College football make sense.
