Thompkins RT
Bah RG
Moore C
Harper LG
Seaton LT

We signed and convinced Thompkins because we can plug and play him at RT and if that was not the case then he would have went with belicheck and unc.

Davis needs to work on his fundamentals and technique as a tackle in the spring and fall - he will be a good value to us down the road because yes the talent is there but just needs to be coached up before you pencil him as a starter.
IU and Miami had the two best ol in 2025 - ole miss and Oregon were in top 5 as well alongside uga as well before there center bobo got hurt which was a big factor in why the lost the sugar bowl.

I can't get past how you listed the OL... Who starts with RT?

It's too early to say. OL tend to make huge leaps in performance their second years starting. Whether he starts or not, it really wouldn't surprise me either way.

Regardless of where the pieces fall, the addition of Seaton means we can have genuine open competition at a number of spots. We will be all the better for it.

Seaton, Moore, and Bah are the only guys that really don't need a good bit of work. It's important that those 3 still develop some, too. The other 2 OL positions will be a battle. I would like to see some cross-training at C, in case of injury to Moore or as his heir.

The OLine is going to be very fluid throughout the off-season. Right now I'd say Moore is the only clear "lock" to start, assuming he remains healthy. Obviously Seaton would be another if he ends up here. But every other spot I would think is going to be a good battle.

I'm pretty sure Bah didn't start at Maryland for two years to transfer and ride the bench. He'll start at RG.

Exactly and Thompkins started at LT for Baylor for last the 6 or 7 games at Baylor.

Davis is a very expensive depth piece

William Satterwhite is your backup C. Probably true freshman Ryan Miret behind him as your emergency/RS 3rd.

And worth every penny- again the talent and raw ability are there - but yeah just had bad coaching last couple of years and got into some bad habits that make him inconsistent.

I don't think anyone dogged Davis more than me, but from what I read and saw he has all the tools and effort was never an issue. That leaves coaching. Maybe the right scheme and position coaching will get him where he needs to be.

If that's the starting line, LSU will run the ball down people's throats at will

We don't know what will happen yet, obviously.

What we know is we are better prepared to have good players on the Oline than we were last year.

We will be coached better. We will be prepared better. We will scheme better.

We have more options to replace under performing players. The offense will be a top 25 unit, IMO.

If the defense can improve even a bit...this team can be special.

I agree 100%. His film was bad enough that it was unlikely he had much demand in the portal imo.

CLK/Glasscock probably kept him at a cheap price based on his upside and eligibility to be developed over some time. Probably was also a value oriented hedge to make sure they had the numbers at OT they wanted.

I would put Thompkins at G think he’s best suited there and Harper at RT. But we will find out soon enough. We have the bodies now on the OL and can come up with the best unit
