An attorney from New Orleans was named deputy director of federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement, deepening Louisiana's ties to the agency President Donald Trump's administration is using to drive its deportation agenda.

The veteran ICE official, Charles Wall, previously worked as the agency's principal legal adviser, a role in which he oversaw attorneys representing the federal government across the nation in immigration removal proceedings.

Wall attended Jesuit High School, received an undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and studied law at Loyola University.

Our sons play sports together. His family is very Catholic and very nice. I think he has 7 or 8 kids. Hoping for the best.

Louisiana continues to be the epicenter of the MAGA movement. I have never been prouder to be born and raised here.

Go back to their country, then apply for citizenship the legal way, but only if they can support themselves without welfare

Humans who break laws go to jail or get deported, depending on their status.

Nope. Legal citizens residing in their native countries are too.

N.O. Jesuit is an excellent school. I've visited it many times and it's like a school inside a museum. U.N.O. is a big drop down but Loyola U. is good.

Many of them are honorable men doing their jobs, but there also are some poorly trained, ill-tempered rogues with orders to go in “heavy” at every encounter. That’s when unnecessary tragedies happen.
