According to Quinnipiac poll.

The Hill

70% oppose our intervention
18% want us to intervene
12% can’t decide what to wear everyday

It seems like the overwhelming majority of people think our two nation building projects in Venezuela and Gaza are enough.

What did they do poll 1,000 people and that justifies 70% of Americans?

I’m curious what the number would be if the media properly covered this event from beginning

What are they saying Hilary Clinton's chances of winning the White House in 2028 are?

Piss on them.

I honestly don't give a hoot about Venezuela or Gaza, but in Iran we have a golden opportunity to correct a 47 year-old mistake.

If Iranian regime doesn't fall to due to the Iranian people removing them from power then it will not last. The odds of Iranians rallying in a nationalist sense is the risk one has to consider if foreign governments get kinetically involved in trying to topple the Iranian Regime.

The US should blockade all oil shipments from Iran and see how long the regime lasts.

Americans also mostly back congressional oversight in case President Trump sends the military to fight with the U.S.’s perceived foreign enemies. Another 70 percent of respondents said Congress should have to approve the president’s war request, with 95 percent of Democrats, 78 percent of independents and 54 percent of Republicans in agreement on this.

And where does the American approval rating of Congress stand? So according to this poll, Americans suddenly trust a Congress with the historically low approval rating with oversight of critical issues and situations? What a load of garbage.

I'm all for putting a few cruise missles through some windows to help the Iranian people oust the current regime. And also helping them immediately put the personnel in place to go back to the early 70s governance if they are mostly in agreement with that.

Maaaybe some stealth aircraft to drop a few boom pickles to do the same thing.

But not a whole lot more than that.

The people of that country have screwed America since I was 14 years old. Iran has a tremendous amount of American blood on their hands. I do not think we should have any involvement other than containing them.

It’s great if they self determine that they want freedom and a democratically elected government. Good for them but that’s their battle to fight not ours.

I opposed it when they asked....

Do you think the US should spend 2 trillion dollars and lose thousands of American lives to intervene in Iran?

Hmmm seems their interpretation of "intervene" was a little more tilted wouldnt you say?

MSM not covering the revolution, not surprisingly because the current Islamic regime has the same morals and goals as the current democrat party, and also all members of the MSM are hard core democrats

Polls like Quinnipiac's aren't necessarily biased; instead, they underscore the difficulties of gauging public opinion—factors such as how questions are worded, the available answers, and current events all shape responses. Americans typically resist new military interventions unless they see an immediate threat, which helps explain why high numbers often oppose intervention. This poll mirrors standard public sentiment, especially in light of years spent in costly foreign ventures.

Given recent U.S. actions in Venezuela and ongoing operations in Gaza, it's not surprising that most Americans are reluctant to support involvement in another conflict. This widespread feeling of wariness is why promises from politicians about "no new wars" draw close attention—even with such assurances, people see that the country has already engaged in two major interventions. So, when 70% say they oppose action in Iran, it's understandable—the public feels the nation is already heavily involved abroad and is wary of further commitments.

There's also a gap between the administration’s official goals in Venezuela and Gaza and how the public perceives these missions. While the White House describes them as targeted, strategic efforts to stabilize regions or defend American interests, most people don't follow these policy details—they simply view the U.S. as entangled in two foreign conflicts at once. Therefore, when polls show 70% against intervention in Iran, it points to growing exhaustion and skepticism among the public, who believe the nation is overextended internationally, regardless of the government’s justifications.

The overwhelming majority of people are morons and don't understand foreign policy....kinda like this board. Richard Nixon needs to come back from the grave and educate the masses on the way the world really works, not how hard right, small minded influencers think it works.

We didn't do anything in Gaza. Israel did and they were entitled to.

We just eliminated a major funding mechanism and trading partner for Cuba, Iran, Russia, and Iran by removing Maduro and keeping pressure on Venezuela to align with us.

We are very close to the inaction of the Carter regime being undone. That inaction has led to decades of war and terror in the Middle East and Judea by allowing Muslim radicals to depose the Shah.

You remove Iran and Russia and China are on an island with a demographic anchor tied around their neck (as well as the North Korean anchor). We could legitimately have sustainable peace with no global threat to the western hemisphere within a generation if we keep this momentum.

Or we could give it back to the Democrats in a few years because this generation thinks if you play nice everyone will like you and leave you alone.
