I’m not a big fan of interfering in the domestic affairs of foreign nations, but I’d support air strikes on Iranian military facilities to support the citizens. The establishment of a pro-Western secular government in Iran will be the biggest geo-political event since 9/11 and the fall of the Soviet Union. The positive effects of it will be outstanding in many ways.

Probably sit there for a while so the Iranian people get a real clear picture of what happens to its citizenry when they stand up to religious zealots. As the bodies stack and the world gets restless with the carnage, then and only then "MIGHT" the US engage to preserve life for those who wish to be free.
But one thing is clear, the memory of life completely controlled by muslim ideology will be ingrained for many generations to come.
