This is such an emotional response.
The QB situation was a mess before Kiffin ever got here.
To some extent, it was caused by the Bryce Underwood situation. QBs usually decide a year in advance.
It was also a mishandled by getting a 16 year old HS junior to reclassify. That was insane.
Now, lets look at the current transfer market. Its not that we have been rejected outright. Each situation has been different.
TT outbid us (and grossly overpaid) for Sorsby. Granted, they have "stability." But at that price, they can have it.
Demond Williams situation was a fiasco. We did our due diligence. The timing sucked, but it is what it was.
Sam Leavitt (who may still be viable, depending on who you listen to) has a serious injury. It may be fine (probably will) but it must be considered.
I think we have an intriguing guy in Landen Clark and a 5* guy in Husan Longstreet that is a real possibility.
We have Pop Houston committed (we'll see how that goes, but right now, he's local and has intent to play for LSU.)
So we have four very likely targets, 2 Coaches (Kiffin and CWJ) who are great at putting QBs position to succeed, and 3 million people with their panties in a wad.
Take a break. It'll be okay.
